Krakouer 1 week

Got off and rightly IMO.

The view that showed his perspective was fully in his favour. Milburn dived on the ball from behind another player. Earned his wounds (it would be a welcome change to see a Tiger doing this. Maybe Andy Kellaway...) Krakouer was blindsided and within his rights to launch his foot at the los ball. He clearly checked his kick.

As Redford has stated, the AFL is trying to sanitise the game, overall. But this time justice prevailed.

Cheers Disco08, good to be here, very happy the suspension was overturned, bit worried where the Andrew and Adrian show are taking our game, with rugby union and soccer snaping at our heels, we have to keep our game original and unpredictable. Confusing umpiring interpretations on the weekend continue to baffle me, big Fev was umpiring the Carlton v Essendon game at one stage.

I actually think this whole episode worked the way it is meant to. This incident shows the system can work.

Was it an incident worth looking at - Yes it was IMO.

Was it looked at- Yes it was

Was the player let off after it was looked at - Yes it was.

To me he deserved to get let off, but I still feel the AFL had an obligation to look at the incident more closely.

For once I will say well done to the Tribunal and match reveiw panel.

F**** some of the commentators though.
Should have been looked at and NEVER have gone beyond the match review panel.
If you go by the new AFL duty of care requirements no player will ever be able to lay a tackle, bump, smother or kick of the flaming ball without first stopping and doing an indepth analysis of the possible outcomes.
The game is and always has been a high speed collision sport and the sooner the pea brains in the corporate suits get out of the rules and as far away as possible from the 80 frame per second review the better.
Players are going full tilt and barely get a second to implement or adjust their actions on the field.
Dickheads then get to review any infringements in super slow mo and the next thing you know it looks like a player had three weeks to decide what action he was going to take.
