You have no time for blokes like Krak yet you constantly post about him. You are all over the place. You make no sense.

im making sense, maybe you just dont get it

their have been many duds come and gone during my time supporting the rfc and generally i wish them well because they gave it their best and just werent up to it

blokes like krak who just go through the motions every year while sitting on a healthy contract i have no time for at all, might be a nice kid and all but i dont know him so the only opinion i have of him are as a footballer and it aint that good

Irock,
You're not helping your argument here with your picture of the "DownHill skier" as your avatar, who has yet to play a game for Richmond.

Rocky's got a great sense of humour, can't you guys see that?
Humerous? cynical? sarcastic? optimistic? pessimistic? opinionated? honest? gee might have a few mates around here ;D
downhill skier? he might mean he's fast, well balanced and skillful, is that it Rock? :D

No matter what he was like onfield, lets try to remember like all delisted guys, his career is most likely over.

This is a massive change in life for anyone, and to be sitting in the cheap seats demanding more blood is baffling. Sure he may have disappointed you, but he is paying a pretty damn high price now.

How many of us can say our career to which we were dedicating our lives to was over before we hit 30?

I don't care how bad a player is, once they are gone they deserve a clean slate and best wishes for the rest of their lives.

BTW, Krak did disappoint IMO, but there were plenty of games when many of us at the G were on our feet cheering some of the stuff he did.

Yeah well said T74, some are cold and ignorant in this regard

There are heaps of threads about Krak as a footballer. This one is about him as a person outside footy.

Here's some food for thought from Tommy in yesterday's H/S.

"Get negativity out of your system and be as positive as you can possibly be," Hafey said. "Enjoy what you are doing because you are dead a long time."

He is actually under 25, and he knows that for the rest of his life he will never earn as much money as he did when he was 22.

He hasn't exactly has an easy life, his dad has done hard time in prison while he was a growing up.

Good luck to him, and lets remember the good times.

He smiled and said g'day today ,we spoke a bit of small talk, mostly about work,

I could'nt bring myself to talk about footy and let him know I support richmond etc,

Guess I was'nt sure if he would be that comfortable talking about it,

It took him three days to say gday , he is incredibly quiet and shy,

After meeting him I cant help but wonder if this has been partly responsible for holding him back with footy,

When you think about it, mosy successfull sports people are extroverts,

He certainly isnt that , bloody nice kid though.

Spot on with the introvert thing All Black tiger.

Too many introverts at RFC.

We need blokes with arrogance and class who are top talents that deep down know how good they are and dont need pampering and kid gloves .

1. You are not a Richmond supporter (keep pretending though).
2. You keep claiming you have no time for a bloke yet you keep posting about him.

The thing is "mate", this thread is about Andrew Krakeour after football. Nothing to do with what he did playing a game.
If you don't have time for him then stop denigrating him. To take cheap insulting shots at someone that is putting bread and butter on the table for his family through decent hard work shows your character in a very bright light.

Hey Tommy don't hold back ;) Just say it man.
Yeah agree wholeheartedly with you Tommy....But while everyone is entitled to their opinion, there is a time and place to express it.
He may have disappointed a few on the field at times (other times we applauded him) but geez at least he is having a go and is showing some a strong work ethic.
Its easy to generalise some players, but young Krak hasn't had the easiest of life, at least he's showing some character even though its "only" labouring, big life change from an AFL player, hope it goes well for him :)

maybe this thread should be moved from the footy board to off field or general if guys are getting grilled for talking about his football on a football board

had a post deleted along similar lines but here goes take 2.

[Deleted...please don't try take 3 >:( ) ]
