Agree with your views.the claw said:i agree we are deficient in most areas. theres one simple reason why you should take your ruckmen kpp before onballers. yhey take longer to develop. im with phantom to a degree on what types we should be taking this yr. we have an opportunity to fix our ruck stocks long term this draft. so if possible we should take 2 ruckmen and a kpd with our first 3 picks. if we go with an onballer first pick i think it important we draft a ruckman and kpd with our next 2 picks and take another ruckman later in the draft. an ideal situation would be for us to trade into another top 10 pick.ToraToraTora said:We need everything. It's just a case of where to start.
I will add in the last draft Reiwolt was a good get for a kpp & also Polak. The club has attempt to fix the KPP & we should again this draft exactly how you state imo too. Kru or Cotch either 1 with our first pick then rucks after that but I am not sure how we will get another first rounder from our stocks by trading, but agree an attempt should be made.
I do believe though with Cogs, Foley, White, Raines, Tuck, Lids & even Polo at times we have a neuclus for a midfield that still needs time to improve but a good hard preseason to get fitness levels up even higher is a must with also an increase bulk size.
Furthermore big long preseason should be done on tackling were players reach exhausting levels in tackling to start getting the bodies accustomed to the pain. Too many times players break away from tackles we place.
