Lader Postion?

After todays performance against Geelong where you honestly think we will fish on the ladder?

I expect 9th again, up and down season where they can look fantastic one week and terrible the next, to just miss out but give me enough hope to think that next year they might just take that next step. Ah.......its a familiar path!

Things could be worse...I could have been born a Collingwood supporter!! :o

After today's "interesting" performance to say the least. Where do you think Richmond will end up on the ladder, at the end of the year?

I think we may just miss the eight once again, we're just lacking a tough never say die spirit.

i think you're getting a little excited. had've we selected our best team i think we could've easily won by ten goals and you'd be saying "can we win the premiership"...

we went into the game with one ruckman, and that ruckman being a bloke who didn't even train the week leading into the game. i always expected a loss. if you're seriously looking at this game as a measure of our season then i think you've got bigger problems

Except ToO if the result had been reversed there would have been plenty of top 4 and heaven forbid, premiership talk on here.

One person has voted top 4 despite the loss. I wonder who. :-[

1st !

IMO... we are just unlucky how we get robbed all the time & lose all those games each year.

Now-now......dont get ya reg grundy,s in a knot........
rewind......
Pussycatkitties done this to us last year and kingsley kicked 9.....then the felines won the Nab cup.....how did the rest of their season pan out eh?
And to those who wannna keep arguin the toss....how about the Blues the year before?
Won the bloody cup....whatever it was called....and FINISHED BLOODY LAST!
So,just save the doom and gloom for another few weeks.....we,ll have a better idea by June I reckon.......... 8)

Much will depend on injuries to our talls.

Mediums & smalls we can cover; talls, as seen on Sunday, we can't.

If we can hold Knobel, Simmonds, Richo, Pattison, Polak, Kingsley, Hall, Schulz & Gaspar together, we've got a good chance for 8th.

Note: Only 4 of these played on Sunday.

PS: I think ladder has 2 d's.

Which team at the moment is looking worse than us. I can't think of one.

Good to see you're optimism is back Jimbob.

I voted 8th(couldn't bear to vote 9th or 10th again)-make of it what you will :whistle

Hey guys, can we please have a sense of proportion?

Every single team that won on the weekend ended 2006 lower than the team they beat.

Only two teams in last year's eight won last weekend, ie Freo and the Dogs, and that's because the team they played ended 2006 higher in the eight than they were. The only two teams out of the eight that lost were Richmond and Essendon...

I was disappointed by the game on Sunday, but most of our players were way below their normal season standard, including Richo, Pettifer, Joel, and many of the young guns like Deledio, Raines, Polo and White. Geelong, like other losers, came with a point to prove, and a lot of talent to prove it with.

I still think we'll make the eight, and voted seventh. I'd much rather be us, than Collingwood, St Kilda, Melbourne...

There isn't a more insignificant time of the year to be asking that question. Last year we were up and down like yo yo's and still only just missed out.

That makes it worse. All the teams below us are on the improve yet we are at best stagnant.

Rather be Stagnant in the pre-season comp than the real stuff JB
