what are the odds of the afl changing the goalposts of the father-son rule in the future? pretty good i think. Sav should be picked on merrit

The only people complaining about the father/son rule are the interstate teams, where the rules are a bit murky. For the Victorian teams, I reckon the 100 games thing will stand. The way father/son picks are done (picked on the players merit, as opposed to giving away a third round pick) will change, though. They've got nothing to lose by playing him...they can't play finals, they may as well try and give themselves a leg up for future years, if his kids are any good, that is...but who can tell this early?
