Gotta laugh at us having a sook about Lake's "injury".  Does anyone else remember a game at the G when Benny took a mark at the punt road end, saw Brodder standing by, and started grabbing his hammy?  Brodder kicked the goal and it raised a real cheer in our beloved red seat area when Benny ran off afterwards.  All's fair in love and war. ;)

Can anyone remember who the game was against and if it was a match saving/winning kick?

Yeah the Tiges won that game rosy. The Dog's had chances towards the end but blew them. I reckon it was late 90's.

Don’t remember it Rosey but it’s a good story. Benny and Bodders, is there anything they couldn’t do?

Actually it was the same year as the Libba/Knighter clash. It was the return bout, huge buildup and IIRC Wallet was fuming after the loss at a non-free the Dogs didn't get in the dying seconds.

Yeah it definetly happened. I think maybe against Hawthorn, can't remember the year.
Benny Gale did feign and Wombat Broderick did goal! :hihi

That was a different incident Disco....I was willing the umpie to keep his whistle away that time too, but it wasn't a faking incident. The free would have cost us the game. Was Bourkey involved? That game was at the Dump but the one I'm referring to was definitely at the G.

Ha, yeah my memory isn't really what it should be. I do remember Broderick taking the kick when Benny faked a little injury though. No idea what year it was now.

That game at the G was definitely against Hawthorn when Benny faked the injury & Brodders got the sausage roll.

From memory the Paddle Pop Lion on Nathan Brown. Had him in a sleeper hold but didn't pay it. Was a great night

That game against the doggies was the most exciting game I have ever been to, I nearly had a heart attack and was soooo happy we won, I think it meant we also couldn't not play finals ??

"Win it and we're in it?" Or was it "We object to being labeled suspect..."

I think the Doggies banner read something about Campbells soup or something....

The Doggies supporters were giving it to Campbell all night. Richo stood up in the final quarter and kicked a couple to drag us over the line. I think you are right feisty, that win shored up a finals spot for us.
