Lance Franklin Interview Footy Show

Ridiculous comment. Do you think WA and Carlton would have been interested in Coughlan if they could see the future? You'll have to come up with a better argument than that.

I had the argument about trading him at the time too with people I know.

Carlton at the least were interested when his groin was shot and he could barely walk let alone run.

Richmond made a mistake on Cogs. Regardless of whether he comes back to senior standard or not. 4 years down the tubes for zero return.

So tigerstar, you want us to trade every single player with a major injury, just cos they don't play alot? ::) For every Coughlan, there is a Bradshaw who comes back very well, even our own Kel Moore who, once he got his body right, is playing good footy.

I just hope Tigerstar is still around here should Cogs get himself right and start giving above value for money again.....

Evetually Buddy will be found out to be as arrogant & cocky as they come. When he says he doesn't know about the hype.....plleaase, he loves it. Having overheard the guy in a few conversations with his team mates, he absolutely loves himself- whether it be in regards to the footy, girls or whatever else amuses him. Last night showed he is either good with the media or a good liar - much the same really.
In saying that, if I was in his shoes, I might very well be no different.

Wow! You've been close to Buddy when he's been having conversations with his mates! You must be right in the know!

I bet he was, like, smiling and laughing and joking, and stuff like that.

What a wanker! I'm sure he was, you know, relaxed and having fun. It *smile* me when arrogant wankers do that too.

Give the guy a break. He just a normal guy, who seems quite shy in the public eye, trying to deal with the spotlight that few others have too, with half the world blowing smoke up his arse and the other half trying to shoot him down. It's not his fault that he has a talent to play football.

Well said Elder-ado

If you don't like someone, chances are you just don't know them well enough yet (with a few exceptions ;) ;D)

In his interview, he portrayed himself as not really knowing that there was any hype about him. He made out he is shy, if you ever see him out on the town, I'm sure you'll see that he realises he is Mr.Popular & is quite happy with it.
Even if he didn't read the papers, wouldn't his club have approached him to discuss how to handle yourself as you are now one of the most recognisable faces in the AFL. He knows of the hype- that is fact.
I don't claim to know the ins & outs of Buudy, though I know what I've heard when the cameras weren't rolling & can tell you the bloke on TV the other night was a tad different to the one when they weren't.
I couldn't care either way about what he does, I just think he was full of crap the other night.

All the Lance analysis amuses me. People here love to run him down at every opportunity but how many of us wouldn't love him to be one of ours? ;)

Sounds like he should get a gig on Neighbours or Home & Away hey Disco Stu?? :hihi

I know this is just "pie in the sky stuff",but with a bit of luck we could have had both Pavlich and Buddy in our team right now.How different would the RFC look right now.Darn it all it required was a pick either way
