I had the argument about trading him at the time too with people I know.


Carlton at the least were interested when his groin was shot and he could barely walk let alone run.


Richmond made a mistake on Cogs. Regardless of whether he comes back to senior standard or not. 4 years down the tubes for zero return.

Evetually Buddy will be found out to be as arrogant & cocky as they come. When he says he doesn't know about the hype.....plleaase, he loves it. Having overheard the guy in a few conversations with his team mates, he absolutely loves himself- whether it be in regards to the footy, girls or whatever else amuses him. Last night showed he is either good with the media or a good liar - much the same really.
In saying that, if I was in his shoes, I might very well be no different.

In his interview, he portrayed himself as not really knowing that there was any hype about him. He made out he is shy, if you ever see him out on the town, I'm sure you'll see that he realises he is Mr.Popular & is quite happy with it.
Even if he didn't read the papers, wouldn't his club have approached him to discuss how to handle yourself as you are now one of the most recognisable faces in the AFL. He knows of the hype- that is fact.
I don't claim to know the ins & outs of Buudy, though I know what I've heard when the cameras weren't rolling & can tell you the bloke on TV the other night was a tad different to the one when they weren't.
I couldn't care either way about what he does, I just think he was full of crap the other night.
