Last Year V Carlton

I think too many tiger fans are getting ahead of themselves for this weeks game against the Hawks. You only have to look at last years game V Carlton where we were hot favourites after they had lost 12 or so in a row. Even though I think we should win easily, be wary of a team with there backs to the wall........

Williams is the danger...if they get some good ball to him, he'll do alright against us I reckon. Always has actually.

i would prefer we all took the PMAC21 approach and were wary of them and terminate them in the most appropriate, clinical, destructive manner possible.

Personally i hate these games cause we have a habbit of dropping them...however that was the old richmond. THis is the new Richmond with new players no coach and new culture!

Couldn't agree more pmac21. Just look at 2 weeks ago. We lost to Fremantle. Don't laugh but I really don't rate Freo any higher than Hawthorn. Only difference is Freo actually think they are better than they really are, Hawthorn, at least realise they need to improve. A bit like us really, only I think we're a bit ahead.

I remember a thread earlier in the season which went along the lines of our 'poor' draft picks, compared to Hawthorn's draft-picks...and how much further they were ahead of us in development and winning games.

Also remember Malcolm Blight saying something like "a marathon isn't won in the first 100-metres"!

Agreed. Whenever I'm this confident about winning I make myself very nervous. That doesn't make sense does it?! Ah well, just a sign that I should just head to the local for a TGIF beer methinks.
