I have heard a whisper that Dean Polo will come in for Tambling today.

Polo should've got a game anyway in my opinion.

Not sure if Tambling is injured or not.

Yep it's been mentioned on PRE for a couple of days now, and I've been told similar info from someone I have faith in, that Tambo has a hammy injury and Polo will replace him. Interesting considering people were saying on Thursday night that Polo had been told he'd be playing. If the change eventuates it wasn't a very closely guarded secret and Geelong would be fully prepared for the scenario anyway.

I said on a thread recently, that it is amazing the amount of games that Tambling has played compared to Polo considering the output they have both had.
Reputations obviously count for a lot, also not a good idea to cross the coach.
Tambling won't be missed, especially against a side like Geelong.

... Even though he was BOG there last time we beat them in 2006 ::)

But lets not let that get in the way of a good story - Dean Polo,

I said pre-season he would play all 22 games this year - guess he's a chance for 21.

How does Edwards get a game at the minute ? - please prove me wrong son.

You're right mate, he played a good game 3 years ago, keep him in.
Just a reminder that the Geelong style 2006 is a completely different one to the present one.
I don't like the fact Tambling is gifted games whereas others show form & are over looked.

As for Edwards, what's your point? I haven't mentioned him. He's struggling no doubt.
Cheers Dad, didn't want to mention it here, but mum said you're not my dad. She says she wouldn't go near a condescending joke such as yourself.

Wish it was Polo for Jackson.

True - though I guess he'll be given another week to tag a star midfielder out of the game.

(Woah, Disco, take a chill pill - the 'son' I was referring to was Edwards - & I never implied you mentioned him, ? sheesh)

Sorry buddy, I misinterpreted your post.
I obviously thought you'd directed it at me. ;)

I really want Polo to play, and obviously I'll be in the minority, because I'll be disappointed if Tambling doesn't play.

I thought he was in our best 3 players last week and definitely better than everones golden boy Deledio.

Call me a masochist but I've watched the Carlton game 4 times (had to do it with the volume down to avoid Wall's dribble) during the past week.

Walls commentates through his pocket. He repeats the same ol, same ol and never lets the truth get in the way of his tainted views and should be put out to pasture.

I'll be cheering if Polo gets a game but would prefer it to be at someone elses expense.

I think its obvious why Walls aint a coach anymore. He is one of the worst commentators around in my view. His past grudges come out alot in his comments.

I agree, thought Tambling was one of the few to battle last week but if he's injured he's injured. Polo should have been in the starting 22 in my view and it appears the same is felt by many. So good luck to him if this eventuates, he should grasp this chance by the throat so Wallace cant find any further excuses not to play him.
