Now, i'm trying to be calm, but some of you are an absolute joke for the things that are being said about Richo.

Show some respect for a guy that has bled yellow and black and almost kicked 700 so far in a team that has been down near the bottom for a couple of decades. The disposal he has put up with is terrible. He would have almost 1000 goals by now if he played in a team with guys that could hit targets! He is one of the greatest marks of the modern era and runs like no one else does at his size.

After ONE practice match, people are writing him off and can't wait to get rid of him????????? He didn't even play that bad and for chrsits sake it was just one match. The first of the year, so of course there will be some rust.

Do people forget quickly that he won the B&F last year? Or the fact that against the Bombers in round 21, he pulled in 19 marks, had 24 possessions and kicked nine goals. Yeah this guy is no good hey!

Who is going to play forward if he doesn't? Schulz, Hughes ??? ??? ??? Schulz has lived off that one game against Brisbane for his whole career, and shouldn't be on the list; lazy piece of SH**. Hughes may come good in time but, couldn't even make the Coburg Senior team in the finals last year!!! If these two were our focal points, we would lose by more every week and the club would be burnt down by the same people who say those guys should be there!

Yes i do realise his kicking isn't the best, but only one person can be the best! Think about it. Besides have a look at the stats over his career. I have seen them in the past but can't remember exactly. But the point is lets say he has kicked at around 62%. Other players that are thought to be really good kicks are only just above this, and some other good kicks are actually below him. Can someone find these stats please as i cant be fu**ed?

I look forward to the start of the season when early on Richo will put in a massive game to help us win and all the knobs that have doubted him will cheer "RICHO RICHO RICHO" from the grandstands. Those are the people i can't stand, and no wonder i don't usually visit this site during the season proper.

Just remember overall, yes Friday was a loss and we played crap, but the season starts in four weeks and thats when it really matters. During the pre season clubs look to nurse players so they don't get injured, and then closer to the season get right into all the physical game like situations at full speed. Give them time, but don't expect the wooden spooners to win the premiership in the next year!
