Can state for a fact that he was at the White Room in St Kilda on Saturday night. Was looking very shabby at around 11.30pm, well before the his bladder contents were dropped off at St Kilda Road Police Complex.

"Shabby" is being very kind compared to what I was told by someone else who was out and about on Saturday night. ;)

How many on a Police Station?

I know a 20 year old who did it on a post office next door to a police station.

He got charged with offensive behaviour, remorsefully pled guilty, and had to pay $20 into the court 's poor box

Johnson shouldn't be captain, but not for his johnson routine at the back of the cop shop. While he runs his guts out and works hard each week, his skills let himself and the team down all to often.

In terms of how he and the club have handled it, I think they've done a fantastic job. He showed true leadership by getting out in front of the news and proposing a self imposed penalty for his actions. No one else in the team could, or should be allowed to do it, however he is the captain and it makes sense he does this.

To answer your question Rosy, according to the HUN

"Richmond's leadership group contains Johnson, vice-captains Chris Newman and Nathan Foley, Kayne Pettifer, Troy Simmonds, Nathan Brown and Joel Bowden. "

Thanks Leigh. Richo may not be in the leadership group but they are very lucky to still have his influence and sense of responsibility.

Not if what I hear about the very same evening is true.

I forgot the season started earlier and have modified my post for the sake of accuracy. You questioned what I'd said, implying the pact was only for the 6 weeks leading up to the pre-season. That's correct, seeing it mentioned the 6 weeks prior and that was obviously pre-season, but you also commented that it ended when the season started. Its not semantics. There's a big difference if it was only for the pre-season rather than during the season, as indicated by the fact you bothered to question me about it.

It's semantics if it was for 8 weeks or 6 weeks BEFORE the season started. If this curfew is still in place once the season started & the players were forbid from going to any establishments on the weekend then its Ok to accuse Kane as you've done.

There's nothing that would lead leysy to believe this was the case though.

Gee thanks Leysy. :hihi

Whether the curfew extended to the season or not, as you suggested you'd read but haven't as yet provide evidence of, is merely a red herring as far as I'm concerned. Considering what actually took place on Sat night it could also be called semantics. Thankfully it's not our job to address and deal with the situation.

I think Pettifer is doing a great job leading by example. Looking at that last quarter against the Blues, amazing how many times Pettifer was involved in the set ups, I counted at least three assists to Jacko, Browny and Richo for goals. Must have racked up double figure stats in that quarter alone!

Looks like leadership sits well with Kayne! :

I hear Newmo and Nathan pitched for Kane to get 20 weeks suspension so they could split the captaincy.

Pervez Foley and Murmur Newman were foiled in their coup attempt.

Are you suggesting Johnson has learnt nothing from history? Always a dangerous game to leave the instigators of a coup free to try the same again later.

I reckon it can only be a matter of time before Kane returns home to find the toilet door bricked up and the cop shop wall looks appealing again.

THought it was intresting last night that Nathan Brown admitted that the leadership group had no input into the Kane Johnson sentence. Did not even meet to discuss it according to Brown.

Kind of makes me think what is the point of having a leadership group.
