Just read on the Herald Sun website that Leigh Matthews has opened the door to a possible coaching job. If a team went looking for him, he would respond to their inquiry. He also said that he would rather our list than that of the Roos.
I say go get him! Even before this article, I nominated Matthews as the one Richmond should try and get. We have stuffed up our coaching appointments for years and we can't get this one wrong. He has the toughness that we need, the experience, the smarts, and he has coached premiership teams so he knows what it takes.
We need his no nonsense attitude and I think we should push very hard for him!
