Let me start by saying i think i can solve our problems. Ask yourself these questions.

1. Why is R.F.C. able to extract so much passion from your soul ?

2. Why do you clench your fist when we are down to the point your knuckles go white.

3. Why do you beleive we are capable of so much more ?

4. Does it stir your guts to the point you feel nauseous when we lose.

5. Are you at a lost for words when we don't get up and win when we should.

6. Do you feel the frustration's of every other Richmond supporter but feel powerless to do anything about.

7. Control over ones destiny instills a feeling of security. But isn't it funny that we imagine our destiny being linked to TIGERLAND. Think about it the yellow and black truly runs through our veins.

8. Throughout the years of turmoil and indecision i think the feeling of pride and tenacity playing for the yellow sash has been lost amongst the economic machinations of the AFL. The almighty dollar and commercialism has
nowdays blurred the vision of players, playing for the people, the tradition and the jumper have all but diminished over the years.

9. I don't blame the club, they had no choice but to change with the times. Anyother direction would have meant imminent disaster.

10. Why is it the longer you thing about Richmond the more intense your veins pump and you can feel the blood run from your shoulders to your finger tips.

This problem can be fixed and must be fixed.
Everybody at the club who has anything whatsoever to do with the performance of the club from the top to the orange boy needs to understand and feel the passion.

11. Isn't the Tiger attitude supposed to be Never Say Die, filled with anger and determination ?

The people who understand the message i am trying to put across hold the key.
Surely someone with any pull at the club would know where i'm coming from.
Us the supporters must pave the way and show them what it means to be at Punt Rd.

An idea i had was to show them where we stand by suppoting them 150 %
Remember that never say die attitude !
Everybody that can attend a specified training sessions should, sporting banners that show the Y&B attitude.
Imagine for a moment if during a training session Punt Rd was packed out. The media would jump on board and only amplify the feeling of our supporters. We are here and not going anywhere. Inspirational. Like a boxer who is getting hammered in the ring and should have been knocked out in round 1 but he just keeps on coming. Corny ? Maybe but you get my drift.
You can be told about the feeling but you won't understand it unless you FEEL IT !

C'mon Tiger supporters nothing to lose, let's send our message loud and clear. If we are to make our voice heard the time is now !!!!!

Please positive and constructive comments only.

I understand your passion but I'm not sure what you expect the supporters to do. The players know full well the passion of the supporters thorugh websites like this, through the media and through meeting us in the streets.

Even if Punt rd was packed out for a training session and the media jumped aboard what does it matter when performances like the last 3 weeks are put in. In reality there's only 22 people each weekend who can change the fortunes of the club and they aren't doing a terrific job of it.

I dig you HMH, good thoughts is what we need right now and if everyone continues to be negative then we will all get no where!! I think Richmond should hold a family day/training session (which the shcool holidays are over so a bit late) but something to get the fans down the together and cheer these boys on and put the right thoughts in their heads!! Well written mate :clap :clap

As much as i would be in for something like that, we really shouldn't have to. The passion to play for the RFC should be there from the day the first step in to Punt Rd and if it isn't, it should be worked on just as there skills and fitness are.

But i do love you Enthusiasm :happy

HMH I'm totally with you baby!!! I FEEL your song but its a tough gig. The crowd need some inspiration from the stage right now, and our band of brothers aint workin' it. ;)

bowden4president a message for you !

Just because something shouldn't be done doesn't necessarily mean it mustn't be done. Does it sound a little hard to do on the supporters side. Then it must be a little hard on the players side. I only have to words to retort to your statement. Stiff S*#T !! If you tell me something is impossible or too hard you better watch out cause ill push like hell to achieve it. That is the attitude i want from RICHMOND !!!!!!!!!!!!

if 20000 richmond supporters yelling out support at a match wont get you over the line how will 500 at training achive this? lets not focus too much on the players, except for a few there weren't too many who didn't have a go on friday. our coaching staff are the ones who need to lift their game as we have been outcoached three weeks running

terry and co lift your game >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

I totally agree with you and I know how you feel. I've been that way my entire life. Anyone who was here in 2005 knows how passionate my Dad was right up until the day he died, and even when he was in pain and scared because of the cancer that took his life news of a Richmond win could still bring a smile to his face. My Mum is pretty similar. However if the players haven't responded to all that and don't know it by now then they never will. I don't know how you'd do it, but the players have to be made to hurt, really hurt, the way we do it when we lose like on Friday. If they felt like that then maybe they'd win more often. This is down to the players. I don't mind the losses, not when I can see them really trying, but the 3 games this year they haven't done that, they've been in winning positions, but still lost and I don't get the feeling that everything has been left on the ground. Not like the loss to WCE in 2005 at the G, the week after Browny did his leg.

Maybe have 20000 at training but making no noise at all for all the whole session. Would be pretty spooky for the players.

I think you'll find our luck will change this week. I discovered today that I'd forgotten to put the new 2007 sticker on the car. Now it's taken care of let our season begin.

Yeah it's produced by the hard-working, low paid, labourers at Eddie Incorporated who find a secret to phase out the yellow gloss so that it becomes white in 6 months time. I heard the same problem from St Kilda and Essendon supporters where the red just dissapears.

Nice avatar TF.

Although a bit harsh on that poor doggy. He's nowhere near as ugly as Smorgon.

After watching the Saints' intra-club practice match last night, I was thinking of dear ol' Dave :rofl :rofl
