Let's not kid ourselves people.
How have we really performed this year?
Rd 1 Carlton...........just as bad as us, 50/50 as to who would come out on top
Rd 2 North.............totally outclassed
Rd 3 Mugpies.........see above
Rd 4 Freo...............if it weren't for them we would be the joke of the comp
Rd 5 Bulldogs.........they were ripe for a loss on the day, we couldn't cut it
Rd 6 Dawks...........the writing was on the wall 5 mins into the 1st qtr, had they kicked straight we would have lost by 10+ goals
Rd 7 Saints.............they still beat us with a half a team
Rd 8 Cats...............they played 1 qtr of football and beat us easily
Rd 9 Bummers.......they are simply just crap
Rd 10 Swans.........reality check for those who think we are really going somewhere
Just because the bummers, freo and melbourne are stuffed we won't finish 14th, 15th or 16th.
Yes we have come off a wooden spoon, but really where are we improving?.............................that's right our endeavour and contested ball!
Endeavour and contested ball can be shoved fair and square you know where when you continually miss targets by hand and foot.
In 4 years Wallace has not been able to get this crucial component working.
And still the likes of Tivendale, Hyde, Pettifer and Tuck remain on the list.
And don't get me started on recruiting.
Miller/Wallace has the likes of JON, Meyer, Pattison, Hughes, Polak, McMahon on the list who frankly don't deserve their spots.
A long way to go indeed, so let's not kid ourselves, we are years away from being even a half decent side, while those in charge continue to be just that..........
