Re: Welcome Liam McBean at pick 33

Obviously had a change of thought after saying earlier that they wouldn't draft a ruck.

With McBean, no loss in passing on Grundy.

Good pick up at #33.

Needed another ruck on the list. Looks like a project player.

Needs to be forgot about for the next four years.

Long term. Nothing wrong with him as a prospect but I wouldn't have gone down this path at this pick.

Does have neat skills for a big.

I dont think it has been reported much but Liam is a mad keen Richmond supporter who was dying to be recruited by us. My sister in law is a good friend of his mum so I have been interested in him.

For those that havent seen Liams highlights package check it out on the RFC site
Amazing mobillity for a big man even plays the role of a midfielder as a link man, also chases tackles and kicks goals.

Re: Welcome Liam McBean at pick 33

No highlights of him rucking is my concern, but moves very well for a big man. He will take time, i still think they may rookie an experienced ruck.
