PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I am actually quite excited about the kids getting another chance against a top side.  While Lids would be wasted at full back when our team is up and running I was thinking a shot at a key defensive assignment may be a nice development task for young Lids.  He plays tall, had good closing speed and of course a great offensive game - perhaps Hentchell.  Mcguane could play CHB so that he can use his athleticism and his lanck of bulk might not be as cruelly  exposed and we load the flanks with runners in hartigan, Raines, bowden and newman.  If Knobel comes in for JON , Simmonds and Knobel could drop back in the hole to offer some height and bulk.

Team could be something like this:

Hartigan  Lids  Newman
            Simmonds
Raines  Mcguane  Bowden

Polo       Cogs        Tivendale

       Pettifer   Richo

Hughes     Staff         Jackson

Knobel    Tuck    Foley

Int:  Hyde  Meyer  Tambling White/Pattison

If you going to put your toe in might as well go the whole hog.  what do you think?
