Lids V Judd

Silly comparison really CC.

Judd is by far and away the best player in the comp. Lids will be doing well to be half the player Judd is.

Testament to Deledio is he was tagged last year as an 18yr old.
If Judd was at Richmond he'd get the best tag every week because our mids aren't up to it.
With Cousins and Kerr to take some of the heat, Judds job is far easier.

Correct you are Oldie, correct you are, but they (WCE) also have Braun, Embley, and Fletcher to help also and Waters and Nickoski, and Rosa, and GOD the amount of quality they have makes me sick to me stomache. >:(

Thanks Disco08 and Scoop for the comparison regarding my questions. :clap
In other words, it may not be best to compare Judd vs. Deledio.
As much as I like Deledio. :)

I note that CC didn't "say" Lids would be as good as Judd.
I also note that CC, with his spelling, was obviously typing with just one hand. ;) :hihi

I dont disagree JB ,I just found it intresting how similar a lot of there stats were at a similar age an just thought many would be intreted, plus I think lids will be twice the player ;D

You're Welcome.

And as Tooheys said, the quality of players surrounding Deledio has surely played a significant role in the shaping of his stats to this point.

I dont accept this - half back is where the game is going - stuff..... your best players have always been and always will be in the middle of the ground. In all standards of footy that applies.....if lids is going to be a superstar he needs to step into the middle of the park and play his footy there...same goes for Richie.....we have plenty of talented half backers who can play the wax role.

You are my man and that's exactly how TW should apply his game plans, just as he say's, 'It's the nature of the competition', and the nature in every club is to have your gun players through the middle. Enough is enough for Brett to be playing that HB role, I was reading somewhere ::) that J. Bowden wouldn't mind being released through the middle.

Our mid-field is the team's weakest link, and more stronger man power rotations are required.

Spot on.

Let me clear my thoat before I spell it out slowly again to all of you specialists, Brett Deledio must be played up the ground, whether it's the midfield or forward line, he SHOULD NOT be left at HB only.

Brett showed us what he can do when the the shackles are released at he has the authority to move up the ground.

Loved that intercept and sprint through the centre he did today. Think it was in the first quarter. Very exciting to see him turn on the jets.

Now boys I am not in disagreance with you, best in the midfield an all that stuff, but where do you think the guns go when they are not in the middle, nobody plays 120 minutes now ,last year -Judd 107 min-Cousins 101 min-Kerr 96 min clubs rotate there best an even spend time on the pine :o,take a good look at centre bounces your lucky to get 2 in a row with the same 4 players

The pass he accepted from Foley? That was early in the 2nd quarter, was great to see and got a loud cheer from me and TM :D
