Geez! Thats just plain nasty Rosy. Poor old Claw had just about bludgeoned me into submission with his constant harping about our lack of player slashing.
33 players in four years is not exactly stagnating.

we certainly havent made the changes or drafted the players i wanted and it shows.
but on this i will concede the point.

yes we have delisted players but nowhere near enough we continue to hang onto out and out duds that should be immediately removed.

and what i should have said was, only at richmond (especially if the rumours are true we are only utiliseing 3 nd picks again this yr) does actually utiliseing 3 nd picks become a problem. i apologise i had it arse about.

CONTINUE TO GO ABOUT BRINGING PLAYERS TO THE CLUB THE WAY WE DO CONTINUE TO HANG ONTO PLAYERS WHO ARE CLEARLYU NOT UP TO IT FOR AS LONG AS WE DO AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO BE CRAP.

oops caps on i apologise again i rarely yell at people.now where was i. oh yes the fact we will use just 3 nd picks 3 times in 5 drafts tells eveyone we are not doing something right. here we have a list with 20 odd who should be turned over and we can only use 3 nd picks i wonder why that is. here the majority are on this site finding it hard to delist or move on obvious hacks the sad thing about it all is the supporters seem to reflect the club.

Yes, but, an increased list size of 2-3 and mandatory delist of 5-6, might improve trade possibilities for all players. This was backed up by one of the Assistant Coaches - forget who. Not a big fan of the Rookie list (for the players), as it really only serves clubs to justify paying a pitance (in AFL terms). Would rather see the playing list increased - not the Rookie List Works well for the club and fans.

Like you DD, not a big fan of change, given how much we've had. Adversity is a good teacher - ask any billionaire :hihi

Definately no to any mid-season movement - you make your bed you lay in it til season's end. At some point a player stop looking outside himself for all the problem and look inward - read Martin Pike! Of course some will miss out altogther - it's tough elite footy! Guess that's why it's not called mediocre footy...............

Yeah I agree with you. I mentioned somewhere else we should be looking at adding 4 players. Your suggestion of a mandatory delist of 5-6 I also agree with.

and make no mistake the wallace cycle of replacing hacks hes bought to the club has well and truly kicked in. 8 have gone already but the scary thing is another 12 are in the gun. that makes 20 of 33 nasty little roundabout when you dont have the proper processes in place.

I reckon the list sizes are about right as they are. Considering that each week we usually have at least 4 or 5 playing for Coburg reserves, and I don't really consider that to be valuable experience. In your average week you'd have 22 in the seniors, 10 for Coburg, probably 3 - 4 injured/unavailable, which leaves a decently large number playing at a low standard.
