It occurred to driving home from the game saturday night that of all our over 30 players, who are either good or have been good in the past, Bowden and Richo are father sons, no brains required, Simmonds, Brown, Johnson, Cousins, all drafted, developed at other clubs before being over-paid for by us and at the cost of draft picks.
When you factor in we have pretty much no players between 24 and 30, What this adds up to is that we went for a decade, a decade, without drafting any decent players. Therein lies the deep problem.
(this has probably been said on PRE before, but I felt compelled to make the observation.)
