Looking forward - October 2007

Not being a dooms day type, but I need to find and answer to this question for my own peace of mind.

If we go through this season and:
1) win between zero and three games;
2) get smashed on a semi-regular basis;
3) continue to have the most uninspirational leadership from Dr Who (our president);
4) have shocking crowds;
5) keep Wallet (with his magnificent tan) and cash-bags Miller; and
6) have very little promise coming from our young players.

What will happen to our already stretched financial position, and membership. Surely the pain will have negative ramifications?

3)Vanderberg is just a footballer but your being harsh on a bloke who hasn't been on the park
4)If your crowds are down head down to the RSPCA an get your members out for the day

Clinton Casey had a similar situation and called it positive momentum, with the exception being he also frittered over 5 million dollars into the bargain.
He was duly re-elected.

To think people think Wallace is the master of spin!

We'll more than likely be sent pictures of our draftees in the mail over summer in their new guernseys and the claims of these are the guys who'll take our club back to our rightful position as a power...... .................
and we''ll lap it up all over again and pay our memberships and keep the place afloat as per usual.

Expectation will once again exceed reality and we'll be shizen again.
Then we'll get more early picks that don't turn out as we hope and groundhog year at tigerland begins again.
