Rawlings, rosy, no one has spoken about Rawlings, there are heaps we haven't yet mentioned. Trade period has a while to go though, I'm sure we can mention every listed player with every team before it's all over.

People get too sentimental about losing players and hurting their feelings, that is the harsh reality that is AFL footy. If you dont like it dont play. Besides I would rather upset a few players and fans in order to see our club succeed and become a consisent finals performer. That's why I said I would happily take the Richo for Judd trade. Sure I'd hate to see the big fella go but you have to think of the bigger picture and the future. It would make no sense to turn that trade down.

It's not the actual trade week I don't like. It's the discussion on the message boards although I understand some love it. I just don't see the point in the endless scenarios people put up when they're never going to happen. Does anyone think for one second Richo for Judd is likely to be put on the trade table in the first place to have an option turn down?

A noble quality to have, for sure, except when you are trying to win premierships. Malcolm Blight wasn't loyal to club greats when he went in in his first year at the Crows and got rid of Andrew Jarman, Tony McGuiness, Chris McDermott and the like but we all know how that ended up.
I thought the Richo - Judd thread was particularly silly. However, I noticed in the rumour threads that Daniel Gilmour was being looked at - whcih Phantom gave the thumbs up to but of which I have heard nothing more. anyone got any further oil about this trade possibility?
