Welcome back Tom. So obvious last night how hampered he had been this year with his knee. We keep forgetting how good he is. Without him we wouldn't have the 2019 Premiership. He's the one that kept us in the game with Jack injured for a lot of the year. And he did it off *smile* all pre-season.

It's physical. Reckon the knee is worse than the club is letting on. No freedom in his running gait.

I really hope that’s the case (that he’s some injury issue) coz it would be good to have a genuine explanation
And you‘re dead right that time and again he seems unable to jump in marking contests and he rarely looks like being a real chance to take a contested mark
And we know he’s been better than that

He got separation. But the ball got kicked on top of his head allowing the defending more time to spoil.
