Believe Knights said the list didn't need a rebuild, a few gaps that needed to be filled.
Dimma said the list need a complete rebuild.

Also Knights didn't rate Houli, left him in the 2's.

But he did rate Jobe when Sheedy was ready to trade him out. Knighter gave him the confidence to become the champion he is.

No, that was Dank

Probably saw the propensity for bad errors under pressure.

Not saying we havnt got good value out of Bachar, but I can see why he was traded.

If we're going to rebuild, the club could do worse. Has demonstrated an ability to teach young players.

Been a long while since Dimma was at Hawthorn. Knights would bring some fresh IP from a successful club.

Not necessarily in favour at this stage, but not opposed.

Give hardwick till round 11 if There are no improvements get knights

That has to be a myth. Knights herded older blokes into retirement and played Essendon's youngest teams since the 1970's. Then Tird and the coterie stabbed him after he's laid the groundwork.

I heard a coach interviewed on the radio recently. He's just coached back to back flags in Tassie. He comes from a school teacher back ground. He spoke well and gave some good food for thought. I wouldn't be upset if we knocked on his door for a role at Tigerland.

No. Geisch was on a hiding to nothing. Interested to know how his career compared with DH's over a similar period of time. From memory Geisch was about 50/50 w/l. There's a mountain of difference in the resources and support they each had available.

It was Zane Littlejohn. I hope he gets a crack at an AFL club.

School teacher? Sounds like Neeld.

You should hear Weightman and Bower talk about the Geisch. They laugh and said the players called him the "Quiche" because "he was light and fluffy but if you had too much of him he made you sick." That is a direct quote.

Let's be honest he wasn't given a fair go at the Bombers wasn't given the financial support that Hird was. He has since proven by winning a flag and another grand final appearence That he can coach. I would be happy to have him back where he belongs but only with a new recruiting and list management overhaul in place. I think this is where the Hardwick has failed having too much faith in them they have failed him. He has been our best coach since 82 for that I thank him and his heart and soul that he has put into the club and tried his best but I think it has failed and time to move on.

Heard similar things from others about Gieschen. Talked a good game. He did however have a pretty instant impact as a caretaker coach, though. Won 4 out of the last 5 games when we couldn't catch a cold with Walls as senior coach.

I believe the Giesch is the only Tiger coach since Francis Bourke to have won more games than he's lost.

Greischen showed his true colours when he chose managing the umpires over a real coaching job.
I'm sure there's some logic to that comment....

Simple, he took a softer option than going for another senior coaching position. In other words, he knew he was done being a coach.
