It was a fairly ordinary night at the local club. Drinks were being poured and consumed, music was blaring, the dance floor was filling up and girls and guys were eyeing off the talent. The night was in full swing

Maggie and Ruth were very keen, they were dressed in their best evening wear and were out to impress.

Maggie went to the club with her boyfriend everyone knew she was an egotistical *smile* who had massive tickets on herself, so was always looking at the hot guys especially the single ones. She could afford to though. She was very attractive and had a highly paid job at a big multi national corporation, a sexy car and a beautiful house in an exclusive suburb. But it wasn't enough and she always wanted more. Maggie lacked any integrity in life. Her partner Mickey was a good honest hard working man. The were great together but he never really got the respect he deserved from her and she took him for granted.

Ruth was a lot different to Maggie, she was a simple girl and quite unattractive. A single mum with 3 kids on the dole. Her residence was a run down old weatherboard but was waiting for a divorce settlement to upgrade. She didn't have the class or style but had plenty of substance and was always a loyal wife and mother. There was just something about her though, she always relied on others to find her happiness and wealth. Being recently single and the completely insecure *smile* she is, she was keen to land a new man tonight she was willing to put out for the right guy. She wasn't all that fussy but he had to be someone who could make her a somebody.

both different types of girls but whores nonetheless.

As the evening went on, the girls started getting restless and were becoming more desperate. the landscape looked bare until he walked in. he was well known and well liked. a local celebrity of sorts. for the whole club knew that when Bucko was present he was only there for one thing. he wasn't a handsome man but he spoke well and presented himself immaculately. all the girls loved bucko but he was a man about town. the wild Batchelor that no one had managed to tame.

Maggie once dated him and and they had a fling during their school years so she fancied her chances. Bucko being a romantic type liked the idea of giving Maggie another go but was cautious of playing second fiddle to Mickey

Ruth was just hoping the winks, smiles and gratuitous flirting at the bar would send the right messages of her intentions and be enough to get her over the line. everyone including Ruth knew she wasn't going home with Bucko.

Bucko was in two minds, he liked Maggie and they had shared some good times but it was complicated now, different to how it was. The thrill of doing Ruth in the car park or toilets was attractive but knew it was unrewarding and he would regret it later, didn't matter how slutty she was. was it really what Bucko wanted?

Then he saw her. Was it really her? he hadn't seen her in years but it sure looked like her. she was always a little different, a little rough around the edges and there were all the stories but this was a different Rickie. She was stunning now. well groomed and educated, she had learned from her mistakes. they dodged glances to make sure it was really her. There wasn't any looks of immature lust or desperation to renew a passion from days gone by. no artificial, synthetic chemistry just 2 adults who knew their paths had crossed synchronously and forever.

gold post LBC.

i think there will be a last minute attempt by Rickie to land Bucko, but Bucko will end up having a 3sum with Maggie and Mickey for mine. Ruth will end up with Rickie's scraps. :hihi

I'm begining to hope we don't get Buckley. I think I'd rather Jade, I just wonder how the players would react to someone like Buckley with his lack of experience swanning into the club.

Hey, I think I know these people.

I remember them from years ago. Maggie, I didn't care too much for. Classic Nouveau Riche. Started out as a scrubber from the inner suburbs and suddenly thought she was something, just because her current squeeze bought her a Lexus. She's high maintenance and Mickey's too good for her.

What can I say about Ruth? I noticed you didn't mentioned the bad teeth and the feisty personality.

Rickie, I always liked. I just hope she finds the right man to help her get her life back on track.

Think I know this Bucko guy too. Suzi Quatro used to sing about him, if I'm not mistaken.

"If you can't give me love, honey, that aint enough, let me go look for somebody else. If you can't give me feelings with old-fashioned meaning, then just stay in love with yourself.

If you can't give me love......."

(Brilliant stuff, btw, LB&C).

Poor Ruthie.

Looks like Bucko declined her offer. How did you put it so eloquently again? Something about carparks.

Funny stuff, my friend.

i think "doing" was the source of such eloquence

typical outcome though really, Ruth will end up going home with the drunk that stalks every chick in the place all night and repulsively trawls the bar till close

I agree, Jade seems passionate has a hard line on the players putting in even though the seasons lost, wanted to drop deledio and doesnt accept passengers like Wallet did.

This story has a familiar ring to it.

From memory and if history proves it right - all those involved finish up old and out-of-work dole queue users sitting around the pub bar saying "Remember the old days?" - "Yeah and the were better than this!"

Great story LBC.

One man, a choice of 3 women. Far too complicated.

If I'd been Bucks I'd've just gone back to bar for another drink.

;)
