Tigers beat the Bombers (best of all in a manner that has really upset Bomber fans)
Essendon lose (see above)
Collingwood lose a vital match
Carlton lose (and by less than a goal)
Cadel Evans leads the Tour de France
Greg Norman leads the Open (of all the things that happen in sport this year, regardless of the outcome tomorrow morning, this is the most bizarre)
Australia beat Sth Africe in the rugby
Stoner on poll in the MotoGP

Ain't it grand to be alive.

we actually needed collingwood to beat nth melbourne so it wasn't that great a result but if there was ever a win win situation that was it

Also beat Essenscum playing Essenscum football ...Icing the clock :clap
Didn't they invent that stuff ? :hihi

Also Coburg beat Williamstown at Willy. First home loss I think.

What's better than beating Bummers by 64 points?
Beating them by 4 points in the fashion we did! ;D

Oh yes, this is a grand weekend. I cannot wipe the smile off my face - my scum flatmate thought they would win today against Sydney - and I must admit they should have with Sydney being depleted on the ground and the late withdrawal of Melchesci (sic). That makes it all the more rewarding - knowing they are not good enough to take advantage of a weakened side, playing them in Melbourne too. I feel good - really good. Any loss the scum have is exciting to me :hihi

Add to this the Crows losing against Port- they are now out of the 8.
In fact, both SA teams and both WA teams are out of the 8- Fantastic!! ;D
A great weekend of sport, plus a carton of beer won against a mate who supports the Bummers :clap

I went out on the town after the win and scored a free ticket worth 30 for a dj Australian championship at the Hifi bar. :rofl

I walked in the bar girls say ,here's your complimentary cd lolol.

Had a top night and even though I'm not really into djs, these blokes had turntable skills.

Was a great night.

Thanks to the Irish bloke who gave me the ticket.

LOL me at a dj gig with my Tiger scarf and PRE cheater on!

Oh I forgot I then go to the Elephant and Wheelbarrow and a cover band is playing and the singer is an old Richmond mate I haven't seen in years.

The guitarist I knew also having played with him.

Tiger also.

Smasha sounds like you have the midas touch this weekend.everything you touch turns to GOLD or maybe black and yellow

To you and me both, Lee. Happy day. :hihi

Just to add to the joyful list:

Troy Bayliss just smashed them in the SBK World Superbikes :clap

But - agree that I would have liked North and Saints to lose - just to keep the eight more open.

There was some sad news though with the passing of a richmond premiership player in woosha welsh and petts doing a knee.
