I can't understand all the anti Campbell sentiment.
I am not saying he is the answer but I can't see what's the problem with giving him a go as caretaker either.
many things old one but as ferals like to always bring up lets just say in one word. culture.

Hey I know how to win on Friday night - we loan Wallace to the Dogs as a good will gesture :hihi

Exactly.

Campbell is not the man I want even caretaking as he will be results driven.

We need a caretaker coach that will play all the youngsters, help nurture and develop them and show some positive signs for the future.

Campbell will be coaching as a job interview.

I'd like to think that no matter who the caretaker is that they will be taking direction from above as to what the objectives are for the remainder of the year.

Strong word that Rawlings will be caretaker. Possibly McRae.

Campbell offered position but didn't want it.

Choco, D. King to go at season's end.

I don't mind Rawlings now cause I think he's got no hope of being the actual coach next year.

exactly. and the objectives for the next few years.

if anything campbell would know first hand how ingrained our culture is within the playing group, make sweeping changes and not be deluded like many before him that he can bring in quick results.

Does anyone have a link to the full press conference?? Fox Sports only show the first 2 minutes when March is speaking.

I am contemplating starting to like the media again.

Provided a great laugh today on a dreary day when in the Q&A session with Terry after the announcement, some flog decided to ask about the Cousins finger incident and what the club were going to do about it.

Focus boys, focus, remember the mantra of the biggest and hardest hitting news breaks, not the "what we could dredge up from the backyard dunny" breaks.

^ Most appreicated mate. Makes it easy for me to find when I get home.

Can anyone summarise what Terry said in his apology to Footscray?

Can anyone summarise what Terry said in his apology to Footscray?

Basically that he couldn't do it before now because of legal ramifications/proceedings and/or being at another club and it was not appropriate.

Said he had some of the best years of his life there and just one bad week, that didn't go as he wanted. Apologised to smorgon, the players and supporters (not sure if anyone else).

Said he had been waiting to apologise for 7 years but for reasons outlined above could not. Don't think he said muych more on the apology itself specifically.

What bout the one to March, the RFC players and supporters?

i notice Wallace keeps reffering to it being a young mans game.. means we are getting a young coach for sure. probably Campbell. :-\

Reckon Buckley might have something to say about that... 8)
