I'm sick of the doom and gloom on here and I'm very disappointed with the small Tiger contingent in last week's crowd. I wasn't going to the game this week for personal reasons but I've re-scheduled specialist appointments etc and will be there at the G in full voice.

Will my voice make a difference? Nah doubt it, but if every other Tiger fan in two minds decides to front up it will make a massive difference. The players must feel fired on by the Tiger Army in full roar.

Come on everyone footy is supposed to be a fun pastime. Sure our beloved club can be frustrating but you have to wonder if some people get any enjoyment out of it at all with the incessant bagging that goes on. The coach the players the medical staff, the flailing of the whipping boys blah, blah, blah.

Who else is coming to the G with me to get behind our boys as they run out on the G and how much does everybody think we’ll win by?

Tiges by 35. :gotigers

I'll be there Rosy, don't worry about that! Looking forward to seeing our midfield tear there deplorable midfield to shreds! Lookout for Schulz, my prediction is he will be the one that causes headaches for Collingwood supporters up forward!

Rosy footy crowds have changed over the years. :(
Everytime l shout out l will get heads turning and giving me the evil eye. >:(
Against Carlton had 2 ladies telling me to shut up and just watch the footy. ???
l told them next time you receive a free ticket to the footy, sell it or give it to someone else.

B2 stick to the topic, I think Rosy is concerned over all the bagging of the Tigers,
not your squabbles with little old ladies.

I'm with you Rosy, too much bagging on PRE when we should all be enjoying watching the Yellow and Black.

I still get the goosebumps watching them run out on the ground with our song blaring.

Sybil! Control those multiple personalities of yours. They are scaring the kids-it is school holidays!

Hear, hear Rosy,

Too much doom and gloom - when we have every reason to believe the boys can smack the Colliwobbles.

We are flying down from Sydney - and are counting the minutes to the first bounce.

My girlfriend last night was going through the winter wardrobe, making sure she had the appropriate mix of Yellow and Black - but was heartbroken to hear of 26deg temps.

Here's to a crowd of 60,000+

You guys who can make it to the matches live but aren't, really don't appreciate the opportunity you. Being stuck overseas, I'd be willing to do anything to have the opportunity to watch the boys live, weekly.

These days I schedule business trips to Sydney if/when the Tiges are playing or and then business trips to Melbourne when I'm sure they're not playing interstate. I'm lucky to get 1 game live a season and it's rarely against one of our major rivals, Carlton or Collingwood.

We're playing the Pies this week, and out record against them recently is very good. It would be inexcusable not to go and watch the match live !

I'll be there to see our boys beat the scum :happy

I never come home from the footy with a voice left.....i even had a swans supporter move because i was to load last week :hihi

Rosy that's why I sit in the Cheer Squad, it's so boring in the members section unless Richmond start to get some momentum then they'll sort of cheer.
The Cheer Squad is non-stop and people don't care if you yell loudly because everyone else is. Every now and again you get some people who happen to drift over to the Cheer Squad and they get sh!tty if you wave a flag to long or you're too loud when cheering, just tell them to [swearing deleted] off because it's the cheer squad and it's a passionate game, go sit in the sky box if u don't like it, greenhorn!

People who go to only some of the games when we're winning ARE NOT fully pledged supporters, quite frankly I don't care if they go or not because they're the same people who continously give me the sh!ts.

You can tell a fair whether supporter by the clothes they wear, it's covered in cob webs.

Tigerbeau - thats a load of crud!

As a Tiger supporter since day1 (do we ever really remember when we became yellow and black) I have enjoyed Tigers games in many different arena's:

Gabba - public
SCG - members and public
Sydney Telstra - public
MCG - members and public
Waverley / Princes / Kardinia etc etc

As a proud MCC member - who lives interstate - and still pays up their Tigers membership every year (although I get nothing but a Tiger Skin for it), I take umbrage at your comment that there is no atmosphere in the members. >:(

If "having no atmosphere" means I don't have to put up with bogun' westies letting loose with every expletive on the planet (regardless of others in vicinity) then so be it. :police:

There's more than enough atmosphere in the members, and the cool cold full strength ale makes it all the more enjoyable. :P

Please continue to enjoy mixing with the great unwashed - while those of us who enjoy our footy - and surroundings - do the same. :clap

Cheers ;)

I'll certainly be at the game, wouldn't miss it. The feeling in my bones tell me the Scum will be dining in hell. We'll send the scum back to Abbotsford in body bags.

I think there's great atmosphere in the red seat members where I usually sit. I've been in the cheer squad a couple of times and nothing against it but it's not really my thing. I was accused of having no fun in me cos I diddn't want to concentrate on waving one of those big floggers. I think a chant is ok to inspire the boys at an exciting moment but am not personally a fan of endless chanting. It amazes me that a couple of people leading the chants stand with their back to the game. I wouldn't want to miss a second of the footy.

The fact we can all enjoy the footy in our own way is wonderful. If I see you with your "Cop That" banner one day I'll say gidday beau. :)

Edit: Haha geoffry we must have the same kind of bones....dem bones dem bones dem Tiger bones. :rofl

Im with ya Rosy, not a fan of sitting in the cheer squads. Tend to prefer sitting amongst opposition supporters nad running amock there antagonising them. Doesnt often pay off but when it does like it did against Port last year, priceless moments.

There certainly isn't much atmosphere in the AFL members. But IMO the stiffs that frequent that area can be provoked through unrelenting loud and obnoxious commentary. They tend to get a bit vocal midway through the 2nd term after they have had a couple of beers.

Couldn't agree more, Shawry.

hear hear.

im over the the over negative postings of late too. Its the biggest hipocritical situation where supporters beg toughness, pride and loyalty from the players yet they are the first to go feral at the slightest hiccup.

I refuse to feel victimised by the AFL anymore. Im over trying to make sense of the AFL laws and angles that benefit interstaters and Collingwood rather have the goolies to stand tall and do it the harder but more satisfying way.

The "why us" attitude is for losers!
