Mal Michael wants to walk away, Aussie Jones did walk away and there's some feral players out there that still try to party like rock stars every chance they get.
I'm starting to get the feeling that the relentless demands of modern day footy are going to burn out players a hell of a lot earlier than used to happen.
With all the training rehab meetings and sponsor/corporate type commitments maybe a lot of wide eyed happy to get a kick kids are going to be fairly jaded by the time they are about 27/28 years old.
Maybe David Rhys Jones wasn't so far wrong all those years ago when he left the top level because you couldn't have a pie a ciggy and a few cans after a game because it would stuff up the rehab.
