PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

i haven't been reading PRE much this week as it has been pretty gloomy and full of negative *smile* that i just dont like reading. it was a terrible loss by the tiges and one that i want to forget.

in 2004 we finished last with a wooden spoon and earned the right to draft Brett Deledio. we were excited to 6 months and just couldn't wait to see him debut in round 1 and tear some teams apart. by the end of the season 2005 we had watched Lids become a good player. he took everything in his stride and did everything asked of him. 20 posession games , rising star nominations etc. he won the rising star award and in doing so a star was born and i am happy to say that for everyweek of his opening season i was a passenger on a great ride and enjoyed every thrill of it. thankfully last year we finished a little higher.......

last sunday night a young kid by the name of marc murphy debuted against the demons and fairly ripped them apart. a very impressive debut . 17 possesions, his team won, contested ball. EVERYTHING. we know all to well what carlton and its supporters have have been waiting for as we felt the same last year with Lids.

we have seen the arrival of a star in marc murphy and although its carlton who are enjoying the services of this young man we should all sit back and appreciate his qualities as supporters of other teams do to Brett Deledio.
