From Today's Herald Sun.
The club's plan to appoint its senior coach for 2010 will be ratified by the board this week, with Wayne Campbell favourite to be announced as caretaker.
March said no stone would be left unturned finding the best coach for Richmond, as he identified finals as a goal rather than a stripping back of the list.
"We haven't actually said we will go and get a young coach. We haven't ruled out anyone in terms of the process we want to go through," he told the Herald Sun.
"We are interested in anyone who we see as a potential coach who can develop our list, and can take this list into a finals series."
We are all fed up, no doubt about it.
Whoever the club decide to coach us next year I will fully support, renew the 5 memberships in my home and go to as many games as I can.
All I ask is this.
That the club does whatever it takes to right our wrongs.
This list can make the finals Gary?
If it means getting rid of Richo and Cousins then so be it.
I don't care if it is decided that all our 30 y.o. players are delisted, I don't care if we continue to lose next year, I don't care, I don't care, I DON'T * CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just do whatever is necessary to fix the list properly, the football department and the attitude of accepting mediocrity.
No more trading for McMahon's, Thompson's, Polak, etc.
Win at all costs or go down swinging at 100 miles an hour.
No more short cuts, no more chip, chip stop start footy.
Fast, play on, risk taking accountable football.
Is that too much to ask?
But Gary, do you really think this list is finals capable?
