So taking up a list spot for leadership qualities? Sign him up to our VFL team. FFS Richmond. Amateur hour down there.

Does it matter? At a club so bereft of good leaders, he's going to contribute. Either on field in the VFL, or off field.TigerForce said:

It was merely soppy sentiment that kept Maric for 2016. He was shot at the end of last year. He is simply a microcosm of our wider list policy issues. Woeful decision. It is a long way to the MCG and home again if you know you are going to watch this shell of a ruckman leading the Tigers' charge. No chase, no second efforts. I could easily be talking about Hampson as well.

Look I know Ivan cant jump any more and struggles to cover the ground and his body is generally deteriorating and his work below his knees started to suffer as a result as well as his marking BUT where was this outrage when Hampson was extended for TWO years.
Even in the broken down heap condition he still offers more than Hammer.
Anyway maybe his back is better.
I guess I can understand the angst from the perspective that so many spots are held by list cloggers, list positions are at a premium. Anyway with Hardwick in charge it's not as if we are going anywhere this year.
