A friend of mine's boy's plays in the same footy team (U16), as Rod Blakes younger son. He was talking to Rod yesterday and Mark is not too happy at Geelong at the minute. The last two weeks he has been told less than one hour before the start of game that he would not be playing, seems King has been the man. He is also out of contract at the end of year, is he worth looking at PRE's?

Wont happen, Geelong will not let him go. King is basically finished. Blake will be around for another 10-12 years.

A few clubs (St Kilda Collingwood?) would want King but I can't think of what they could offer as trade bait. They have nothing Geelong needs.

As an aside, IMO Gus, despite having a horrible kicking style, is usally effective, or has been this year in the games I have seen for Coburg and he is only 20. Be patient.
