Mark Doran is a Tool

Same, he seems to have been on his high horse backing Hippo Robbo and Crutchy Hutchy this week.

Hes a hypocrite pure and simple. If it had been Caro and Patrick Smith he'd be on his high horse about them.

He was still rabbiting on today about Wallace's explanation for the meeting replacing training, saying maybe Richmond needs to consider why it is 1-7 when the Coach is saying it was preferable to let a meeting run on overtime as training was just a routine skills session. He was saying when you have trouble kicking the ball and with your skills as Richmond does, skills session should not be discarded so lightly.

Sound logic in a black and white world, but Doran is cunningly backing other agendas I believe.

Carries on like a real petulant little Nancy Boy.

yeah, even Rita was getting stuck into him, saying Wallace was coming out of this smelling like roses

Absolutely reeks of it, and not that cunningly either.

That's why I asked - it may be that he is trying to help Hutchinson, who made a mistake Tuesday, was widely criticised for it, and to regain some credit has been playing catch up footy ever since. Doran is doing everything he can too help, to the point where is he is becoming pedantic.

Ironically, a caller rang up to criticise Hutchinson for saying he was "at the meeting". The caller said it implied he was in attendance in the meeting - which I think it does - and thereby being misleading. Doran chucked a wobbly, and suggested that being outside the building is being "at the meeting", and accused the caller of being pedantic (which of course Doran was more so than the caller).

He "doth protest too much, methinks".

Don't focus on the media, focus on the the way we run or try to run the football club.

Spot on MB - the players have a lot to answer for for this.

No doubt if this has gone down the way it has, the players already know Wallet wonrt be there next year so in part realised Wallet wouldnt be able to hurt em come October by sacking them.

The players are not in charge and whilst Wallet and his cronies have been a pathetic dismal failure the players themselves have no say in who coaches them thats the job of the board.

This club is a joke right now.

The entire coaching staff has to go, at least 12 players have to go especially older players who dont have a future long term at years end and the board needs to get fair dinkum and put all the minnows in their place.

If Newman stupidly carried out this activity whether be by misinformation, peer pressure or naivety, he needs to be cut as captain in my opinion.

I tell ya one thing if i was the incoming coach id wanna know who the mutineers are and they woud be the first lot to feel some discipline from the incoming coach with Newman stripped of captaincy.. and other duds involved who are of questionable value going forward all given the arse.

No room for tolerance of this rubbish.

Tigers of old ruthless, and ill accepting of anything but heart and passion needs to be re instored at this joint.

If SEN are making cut backs, then Borin' Doran should have been one of the first to go. Geez that afternoon show of his is boring.

"Stay tuned. After the break we'll have Gustav Bunkercha, coach of the national trap shooting team joining us."

Yeah, right.

Doran? What a dull little gelding. Trap shooting frightens him.

Don't focus on media? Why not? It doesn't preclude criticism of the club.

Indeed, we should always be critical of the media in order to be critical of the club. You yourself said "if this has gone down the way it has". You are necessarily making assumptions based on what you've heard in the media. That is, you are relying on the media telling you the truth, and ipso facto our need to be critical of them.

If Richmond are a rabble, I want to know the truth. Not exaggerated, sensationalist, misleading, self-serving tripe which is all too often dished up, especially this week. Its embarrassing.

It was pure drivel by Doran today. To their credit Rita and Harf told him to shut up.

The hypocrisy of wanting the club to admit everything, how about the media coughing up their sources. I think not.

Rita spoke a lot of sense today on that show had a crack at Doran for sticking up for Hutchy & said that he himself is making assumptions!!

I agree, when I heard Hutchy was "at the meeting" I thought, how on earth did he get into the meeting?

Under Borin' Doran's definition I can set up a deck chair tomorrow night in the MCG car park and still tell everyone on Monday morning that I was at the dreamtime game. ::)

I went from thinking Rita was talking a lot a *smile* a week ago (re: Matthew Johns issue) to being spot on today. Doran was at his worst and im glad Rita got stuck into him. :clap
