Geez you people are very harsh on Geelong.

They certainly had the game won and then went into defensive mode. There were a few scoring changes they passed up on and starting playing that stupid possession game. I was always thought from junior days that the best way to form of defense is offence.

I guess from anyone supporting Geelong, this season was a disappointment. Just managed to make the finals and after making last years prelimary final, to bomb out now, one could say they went backwards.

Now, didnt Geelong get great value from their prize recruit Ottens. You should be ashamed you big DUD, getting the money you are on is a disgrace. I guess Geelong got sucked in and now now you are not worth a gain of salt. If you were on a performance based contacted, you'd be begging like the scum bag you are on the street. Hope you enjoyed watching and not playing in the finals. Can't wait until we play you next season you con artist.

During the late '80s and early '90s, I actually liked the pussies. The great man in the forward line - playing an attractive brand of football. It was always fun to watch.

That all changed in 1995 leaving VFL Park after the Prelim (yes we were smashed - and Micky Gale kicked backwards!). Reasonably content with our season (if not the game) I had a bunch of inbreds scream in my face "Richmond - Bunch of Preternders" This from a team that in 1992 and 1994 pretended to be in a Grand Final. My response was "Don't choke next week - pretenders." You would never guess I was right.

Maybe that is the difference between Sleepy Hollow and Richmond. We determine success by the result on the final Saturday in September. Anything else is at best average.

you guys had arguably one of the greatest players to ever play the game in ablett snr (richmond supporters know all about him), and you guys still couldn't win any silverware in september!!!! Does that make your team full of duds when he basically won 90% of your matches, but the other handbaggers couldn't lift? Geez, if you guys had 1 more half decent player in the past 25 years, maybe you might have won a few GF's. It's obviously not the coaches, after all Blighty managed to win 2 premierships in his first 2 years with adelaide, after leaving the pussies!

I heard the same waffle going on last off season on this site about how Richmond would kick Geelong's a hole in round 1 ... don't let me remind u what happened - oh wait, i will anyways, u guys got ur a$$es kicked BIG TIME, Otto pinned Cogs for holding the ball and then kicked a goal - sending a massive up yours to all the black and yellow tossers in the crowd!

And until Richmond finish above Geelong ... don't say any crap about them being better cause u won 6 more games this yr than last - fact of the matter is u DIDN'T win any against Geelong and didn't come close to finishing above us either!!!
