Marlion Pickett!

Having watched the replay back (after having watched game live on tv), Marly did appear to be slightly disinterested during the game.
Maybe he was more burdened than disinterested.
A few times he was trailing behind his man. Didn't have the same pep or spark.
Marly generally is never too demonstrative at the best of times. (no Papley type celebrations here).
When he took that mark in the pocket Delilah came and said something to him.
I reckon he didn't hear it or ignored it. Like he had other things on his mind.
As mentioned the fact it's out now might actually freshen him up a bit.
If anyone can overcome this and play to a level (now it's out) Marly is the one.
Innocent until proven otherwise.

Wonder what the always morally corrrect, fine upstanding, and corrupt free boffins at Gil Quarters are going to do with him.
We're backing you in, Marly.

If Pickett had king hit someone last game he would have to go straight to the tribunal.Still allowed to train, play etc till a verdict of guilty came through. If his hearing is in August he should most definitely be allowed to play till a judgement of the crime is handed down.Till then innocence should be presumed, not the other way around.

And weak spined ferals that make spurious comments on social media should look in the mirror and ask themselves have I been faultless all my life?

Ch 7 reported at HT that at 6pm news an answer either by the RFC or the AFL will be announced??? Tom Browne.

You have a feeling the AFL will force the Tigers to act?

Bringing the game in disrepute was the wording used by Ch 7 Hamish ??

bringing the game into disrepute is a call way too early to make. Assumes guilty

Family loyalty? Brothers/uncles/cousins have history as well don’t they? Maybe they pressured him into helping? Maybe he refused but still got caught up in stuff? Maybe he didn’t participate but knew enough about what was happening to be considered an accessory? Who knows?

Just keeping fingers crossed. The fact he’s been charged and not just arrested is damning.
Based on what was in paper this afternoon you were closest of all pundits.

Marlion was granted bail today by a Perth magistrate and is free to return to Melbourne. Strict bail conditions imposed after bail was opposed by police prosecutor.
Case against him was outlined and relies heavily on circumstantial evidence.
On what I saw from the report on the AFL site not easy to see just how strong the case is.

Any talk of suspending him from eligibility to continue to play is premature. For mine as long as he maintains his innocence he should continue with us. If he decides to plead guilty that’s another matter.

He and his family, need his connection with the RFC more than ever before. That closeness and support will mean little unless it includes his right to continue to play.

Had a feeling others would be involved someway. I think he lives in Thornbury, not Rezza. Might have to be his final season with us I think.
Someone isn't correct...hopefully it is you in this case TF as providing incorrect information ( Edit on PRE) is not a offence but for Marlion to do so is. (Though it could be a Perth journalist Thornbury and Reservoir hard to tell apart aurally)

Ch 7 said his brother has pled guilty already, and Benny Gale will speak tomorrow.

At Northland shopping centre Pickett image and story is on repeat on every screen through the centre
it’s disgraceful knowing he frequents the centre that he’d have to come across this
Go to Northcote Plaza. Such a time warp that Jack Dyer's still playing.

I expect the AFL tick off a collingwood player to play on bail,

But not a richmond player.

The case against our Marlion seems as flimsy as jeff kennetts moral fibres
