Match Preview Vs Hawthorn

oh well, always next year ;) (j/k)

Take it easy peoples, its just a NAB game and we're missing alot of senior players while they're almost full strength(I think).
good point a full  strength team who came  where last year?

Just take it easy peoples - first game of the year and it is very easy to get downhearted if your not playing up to your best. More worrying for me is still our decision making and pinpointing players on the lead. But glad to see Lids do some special things this quarter but our centreline needs a good kick up the backside.

Gee Richo get your kicking boots on buddy!!! I'm just loving seeing the tigers out there though. Rodan wants to take the first option and not the second or third all the time - still love watching him try and break the lines though. He will come on though.

There has been a fair bit of debate about some of the hawks young players - they are really showing a bit I reckon - can't really say the same for us though.

I think I will start with the patronising 'take it easy people, its only the preseason'.

No let me be honest, we look the same as we did in the intra club, the same as we did for the last half of last year and the same as we have for the past 20 years.  Totally devoid of any skill and decent decision making.

Bring on the so called 2006 superdraft.

You're right. Lets just pack the club in now shall we? ::)

Black arm bands are becouse we know we are dead and burried in 2006 they have given up already

Who was the Tiger player who hit the post 5 metres out running into goal when they were talking to Terry Wallace in the Coaches Box
I was out of the room and could only hear Terry

Rhett

Bloody Bowden (WB)

Patrick Bowden's poor skills so far have only been surpassed by his lack of endeavour.

He was the one that missed from 5m out...has turned the ball over numerous times with his ordinary kicking...won't chase...nice to see him really putting his heart into it.

Very poor debut so far IMO...

Humm and Whitey looking the goods.   :clap :clap

As Terry said Hawthorn are far superior and their young players are more advanced than ours.  It makes a massive difference if you hold marks in the 50.  They are, we're not.  Hawks are classier, more composed and more direct.

We have a lot of work to do in the next 34 days.  At least Treey's getting a good look at who's up to it and who's not.

THE more i think about it greg millers recruiting, he hangs his hat on wayne carey what else has he done?

We have had 5 months to work on it :(

Richo was indeed ripped off with that play-on decision. But the umpiring hasn't been consistent anyway, which is usually a given.

Same old mistakes are killing us.
Poor decision making
Poor disposal of the footy
And we are getting killed out of the middle.
Failing to man-up and be accountable.

Raines has been good. Schulzy has been ok but will hopefully learn to judge better when to punch the ball and when to mark it.
Stafford and Pattison, along with Tambling and a few others have struggled to get into the game.
Hartigan has done some good things and provided us with a bit of run.
White has provided some run and done well.
Hyde did a bit .

We crucify ourselves with turn-overs. >:(

*Silvagni still thinks Ottens plays for the Tigers. ::) :help
