Match Report: Round 22, Melbourne v Carlton

Classic Travis Johnstone tonight.

In a game that Carlton tried as hard as the White Sox of 1918, this pack squirting downhill skier of the highest order gets 35 kicks and 7 handballs. Avoids collisions at all cost, playing so wide at times thought he got a kick on Platform 2 at Jolimont, avoided the ticket inspectors as well.

Travis Johnstone, the greatest player in modern history when he is allowed to play against lepers and the games count for nothing.

Disagree. Heath Black is the greatest down hill skier in the history of the game. He plays so wide he knows all the boundary umpires by name.

Interesting hearing Kevin Sheahan on the radio today saying that he thought Cotchin was the best kick of the football he had ever seen of any junior.

If that's the case, there's no way he'll be picked by Richmond.

Oh well. Kruezer is a Collingwood supporter, we probably dodged another drink driving bullet there.

I actually Heard Des Headland has entered the downhill slalom at the winter olympics an I would imagine he will win GOLD

Does number 2 and a locker next to Lids beckon for Trent Cotchin?

Where's number 9 an I believe that is vacant ;D

Be great for the kid if that is the case, like if he does follow the currant wooden spooners.

Give him number 2. He and Lids can protect each other against infection from the other duds.

Kevin Sheahan seems to think EVERY kid is the best. He is the softest critic I've ever seen or heard.

all in all it wasnt the worst game in the world, just a predictable result

Really? I thought it was shocking. Agree predictable result.

their was about 5 grabs in the match which would all be deserving of mark of the week

it was a soft game of footy and plenty of circle work but it wasnt the "nail in the coffin" of the afl which some were predicting

We'll end up with more superboots like Pattison and Oakley-Nicholls.

Heath Black could not hold a candle to my man Travis.

The last pack that T.Johnstone was at Crown Casino and it was a pack of of cards. Two flys up a wall, TJ will throw a hundred in.

Cotchin is the pick. Has everything we need in spades, a natural footballer. If Cothcin walked into Punt Road tomorrow he would the second or thrid best kick on the list right now.
