Matchups/tactics

TW said at the press conference that St.Kilda went to Riewoldt 60 times and that Raines did as good a job as any of our players could have. Mentioned the mid-air hack and the soft free being responsible for two of Riewoldt's four goals and didn't sound disappointed at all.

Maybe tanking isn't what's happening at all maybe it's teaching.
This season is stuffed anyway so perhaps Plough is taking the opportunity to take some of our young guys out of their usual jobs - comfort zone - and teaching them how to adapt to different roles.
Teach Raines a bit about how to compete when outsized by a big mobile.
Teach Thirsty how to wrestle a gorilla.
Teach Camshaft how a champ like Harvey runs hard and gets to contests all flaming night long.
Teach Lids that to beat a hard tag he needs to do some gut running.

Thats exactly what I thought, we've won a game now we can being to prepare for future years in earnest. The additional upside being the draft picks.
