Just wanted to know what is going on here?
Is Wallace playing for draft picks, is he really trying to win, is he just giving us supporters a little taste of playing well then reverts or the players revert to old ways/habits?
The playing of Wil on Gehrig? When i saw this matchup i felt Wil would be in trouble. The kid tried but Gehrig is too strong and if he has kicked straighter it could have been quite embarrasing for the kids confidence. I am sure he would have been expecting and got himself ready for the rematch with Reiwolt.
The matchup of my boy Raines on Reiwolt. The kid was giving away at least 20 cm. In the air he would have had no chance and Reiwolt is a class act. Raines would break even on the ground but as we saw Reiwolt is not weak in this area. Wil would have been the better matchup.
The playing of Polak as a loose man? Really what is his role. I would have thought his recruitment to the club would help releasing Bowden and him playing on the bigger bodied players . Unless it is a fitness thing or they believed that strength wise Wil would be a better match up then Polak is beyond me.
What was Joel's role. Was he a loose man too?
Just baffled me tonight. We really had a chance to win.
I now wonder are we playing to win now, or save face or playing for draft picks. Its a toss up betwen wanting to win and playing with some flair and still finishing last.
And on this last note. Deleido , i have to question your determination to again allow to be tagged out of a game.
The commentators were critical especially Voss . He has to learn that this will now be a regular thing and HE HAS TO WORK ALOT HARDER AND MAKE THE PLAY AND NO ALLOW HIS OPPONENT TO DICTATE THE TERMS.
