Don't you love that the last word on this is at the same time that the Bombers are kamikazing, while we're finally showing something? Must hurt those fair weather Bomber fans something shocking.

Read the Bomber Blitz forum site. If I had a dollar for every post saying "we are not like Bitchmond" I would be a very rich man

There's also a thread there saying we are the supporters they should model themselves on through tough times. Bit of a backhanded compliment but hey...........

Lloyd is really fading away in the latter part of his career
True in part MB.However compare LLoyd of today to Richo of yesterday.Richo had to put up with a hell of lot over his career yet is getting better with age.LLoyd you would think would still be "fresh".

I reckon the 9 goals against the bummers a few years back was a beauty...not just because of the goals he kicked, but he took about 20 marks for the night. Oneof those nights where he couldn't put a foot wrong.

I posted this link from Bomberblitz on the other games thread but it is probably more pertinent here.

Speaking of Richo and his feats I think his effort of taking 13 marks in the game against Geelong where the ball was like a soap chip just has to be recognised and how the hell did he mark that ball that was going to go through the goals and deny the Cats a score?

Anyone remember a game against the Hawks at Waverley in driving rain (not just drizzle like saturday) when we won kicking 4.16.40 to their 5.4.34?

Richo was amazing taking double figure marks and being best on ground on a day when most clubs would shelf their big men!

1995.

A week later against the Roos on Monday night in front of 65,000 we kicked 6 goals in the first 8mins!! (Daffy went berserk)

Aaah, Happy Days!! ;D

And Scotty Turner held Dunstall goaless if I recall correctly.

Actually BJ, that was the return game at the MCG under lights! It was also just after Dunstall had launched his book "The Goal King"!

On the wet day at Waverley, Dunstal managed to snag 1 goal.

reckon that brought down old Shutdowns average to about 20 against Dunstall.
