Eases my mind but still suspicious with the AFL.

If that's true that the club has had him done is great.

What happens with the no. Does Rioli hand of his jumper no to Jnr?

MRJ would wear 49, the old man's number at sth freo.

Yes, I realise, but the Bummers thought they had Cyril almost signed up too but the Dawks weaselled him away.

Note: Cyril played for Scotch too. Maurice Jnr has just been weaselled away from St. Pats, Ballarat, where Dan went.

There was no weaselling away. Essendon could have drafted Cyril and chose David Meyers instead.

Nope, Freo can pick him up as a F/S as well due to Maurice's 168 games with Sth Fremantle.

Fair enough, was just going by a newspaper article

Their rights to him expired in Oct 2015

"Until 31 October 2015, Fremantle could select any player whose father has made 150 WAFL appearances prior to 1995 for East Fremantle, South Fremantle, Perth or Swan Districts"

I spoke to Daniel Riolli about his little cousin and I asked if he was a chip off the old block, Daniel said "he goes alright", also that young Mo is finishing some school up north and goes into his 'digs' at Scotch next year.
