No where near as quick as those pumping little stumps would indicate, but fearless in his running and his physicality. He will go you. Pity he doesn't have 15m more on the kick.

Great tackle in front of goal but not paid.
Umps aren’t a fan of him

There is quick, like a sprinter. Then there is Maurice Rioli type quick which is not about being a sprinter but about the first few metres.
He is lightning over about 5-10 metres and that’s what makes him so dangerous.

He's better without the ball right now.

He needs to add some more hurt factor to his game and be much cleaner.

He seems much quicker without the ball than with it in hand. He slows down when he has it thinking about what to do next and gets caught. Needs to learn how to use his pace when he has possession I'm sure it'll come with experience

His pressure and efforts are of the charts , however his kicking is still below standards , hopefully spends a hell of a lot of time doing set shots over the summer , no doubt he’s going to earn a lot of shots in games , we don’t want him been like George

Apparently for the last six weeks or so the coaching staff have been conducting goal kicking sessions after training where MoJu watches as George takes 5 shots from each of a series of spots marked on the turf at different distances and angles at both ends of PR oval (surprised Augustus hasn’t mentioned this before - maybe he’s in the Royal by this time).

Anyway these sessions are all simultaneously recorded on 5 different cameras positioned to George’s left, right, front and behind - plus a drone for the overhead. Immediately afterwards MoJu is taken to a consulting room where a couple of sports science body mechanics specialists get the laptop out and analyse that days footage. They can pause and enlarge the footage of George and draw lines on the screen and get printouts of the most amazing stats including ball drop angles, boot speed, follow through measures, ball spin rates etc etc etc

And the whole point of it all is that once MoJu can commit to memory every single aspect of George’s goal kicking style - he only has to think about one thing in his own game. Never ever ever attempt anything like that yourself.

Brilliant news that he has signed on again.

We can all see the impact he is having on our forward line. Remarkable to think he has still only played 16 games so far. I thought I'd take a look at his stats to see how he stands up against the best small forwards in the game. Obviously his games that he has been sub impacted his numbers so I've averaged him out to 80% TOG%. His last 4 weeks have been very good and he stacks up pretty well against both Stengle and Cameron, just needs to grab himself an extra scoring shot or so and he'll be right up there, his defensive side is what we all see, but his score involvements too are exceptional.

Lovely, Junior!

At what point does Dan relinquish 17 to his younger Uncle?
If Aaarts goes maybe Dan can get 16 so they can have adjoining lockers?
