PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Was having a quiet beer last night, after deleting the 50th text msg about thurs night, and thought to myself that maybe the problem here is the fact that we all care TOO much for the Tigers, so much in fact that it translates to bad moods at work, crankiness at home, then a venting of the spleen on forums like this.
I've been going to games since 1965, have seen Royce in full flight, saw KB dance around Magro at the GF of that year, saw Roachy's great mark against the Hawks, and who could forget others like Barrot,Clay, Fancis.....I guess Im fortunate to have grown up with us being such a powerhouse in the competition that when I witness and feel a loss like we had on Thurs night, it just makes me think that maybe I care too much...
I'm kinda hoping you guys kick me up the arse and tell me to get a grip, and that you can never love the Tigers too much, but gee Im just trying to work out why it bloody well hurts so much.
I get my Membership each year, I go to training at Punt rd, and sometimes Im the only bloody person there, I try to get interstate to watch them, and go to the Club functions through the year......

I just cant GIVE anymore....and would just love to get just a little back. :-\
