Hmmmm

I expected more vitriol than that ;)

Then again after Thursday night it may be that there isn't much left.

"Pathetic" and "Tosser" are pretty tame compared to what should be levelled at players earning $200,000 plus.

No use maintaining this debate.

Said my piece - and don't need to get into tit for tat.

Just two minor points:

(a) the term "the great unwashed" wasn't invented by me. I'm quite surprised that you take offence at such a common throw away term. It seems ironic that we should roll with "members are w@!nkers" - but we daren't not criticise non-members.

(b) I wasn't aware that having two phones was symbolic of being a tosser! I've really won the jackpot - as I have three!! (1) personal which I've had for years and hence is the number that friends use (b) work phone - which is what I'm called on - although I normally divert it to personal phone (3) Secure work phone

Wow! I really am a tosser.

But I'm a paid up RFC and MCC tosser!

Thankfully I don't have to sit with people who think owning two phones is an issue.

PS - I equally agree/have seen the punch ups in the members (Cox Plate last year at the MVRC was a shocker). The irony is - that I would argue that these punch ups are a result of the lowered standards of recent years(particularly at the races - and MCC guests). No argument here. If there is a punch-up the member and his guest are banned for a few years. Full stop.

I am not a MCC member Sir, and I don't have a problem with either of your posts - no offence taken here, the points you are your mate have made are obvious and I agree wholeheartedly
