Mcguane a Hunter

McGuane has improved so much, and is of such value to the club now, that he's been signed to a massive one year contract.

He's on a razors edge.

Yes he is but he was definitely worth another year.

I am far from convinced and as I said in an earlier post he'll need to improve as much again to win a new contract.

Hunter's been outstanding in his last 3 or 4 years but he was far from convincing early. Don't lose sight of that in regards to this thread.

It'll be interesting to see which way Lace-Out goes.

That's easy. Space-Out always goes to the boundary line. When you kick it like he does, that's the safest option.

(Not discounting the fact of course that he sometimes doesnt get it to bounce before the boundary line and puts it out on the full instead.)

Don't worry Redlegs, if it looks anything like McGuane is heading the way of Gaspar mid season, you can rest assured you won't have me defending for another contract.

If Mcguane is still on our list in 2 years,we'll still be bottom 4.

(I didn't realise it was going to be so tough being a brightsider.)

This combined with Disco's previous "darksider" efforts leaves me with one stark impression.

Disco and Evo are the "Milo" Darksider and Brightsider. Not full strength like your hard core bourbon (hi Craig & Capt :wave), but the sort you let a 5 year old read before he's tucked into bed by Mum at 8:30pm after watching Young Talent Time. :rofl

What's also interesting is McGuane and Hunter's comparitive height and weight statistics.
They are not that dissimiliar surprisingly.

Luke cops plenty for being called a pencil but Hunter is only two kilos heavier and 1cm less, despite being in the system for six more years.

Putting McGuane aside for a moment though as no doubt he needs more weight on his bones, I'm actually surprised by Hunter's size at 190cm and 88kgs. Certainly plays much bigger than those stats would indicate.

If Luke does get anywhere near AHs abilitiy we should be well pleased.
Time will tell.
