PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Very busy down the mine last night ;D so had a read of the 07 AFL prospectus again an found it very intresting how Worsfold used Hunter to rough up Hall in the 06 GF,what Worsfold did was put Hunter on him for the first five minutes of each qtr an basically just get in his face an then Glass would move on to him an do the stopping role.

Anyway I was thinking we have very few players who do get in the face of there opponent,Jacko,King,White I have been impressed with at both VFL an AFL at giving there opponents the *smile* an without doubt getting in the mind of your opponent is probally more important then it has ever been.

So I then thought of Mcguane (who personally I am quite happy with his improvement)after watching the last few games recently it stood out his aggression at both player an ball an quite a few commentators picked up on his ferocity.
Luke to me has the marking abilty, courage, discipline, athletic ability an also the ability to run off his opponent an go forward an kick a goal ala Hunter,he still needs to improve his kicking an probally know his limitations in this area as he do's go for a lot of bullet passes that do cause the odd error but he is also far from the worst skilled backman going around.

With a big pre season in the gym an valuable expierence gained last year Im sure Lace out can continue to be a big factor in our backline improvment an is still only 20 as we speak
