Why aren't these 2 players playing along side each other? McGuane was an in form player ( relatively ) when he was dropped - Thursfield was promoted on potential rather than performance - McGuane has to be in for Kingsley surely

Cant argue with this, we have nothing to lose atthis point in time, he has shown something get him back in adn get the games in him and experience for next year.

McGuane, Thrusfield, Polak, Raines, White, Tambling / Deledio as the back 6 for the rest of the year.

Playing Tambling of HBF would get his stats and build some confidence.

I would bring in McGuane for Kingsley and let him play FF for the whole game and see how he goes, i think he might suprise a few.

Unfortunately Lukes kicking is too suspect to warrant being a forward.

Mitch Clark is a terrible kick and he is still a forward. Richo isnt the greatest kick at goal and he is still a forward. Travis Cloke is shocking and he is still a forward. Get my drift?? Luke would kick more than he would miss.

I would like to see McGuane back in the side to allow Joel some freedom to set up further down the field. We have nothing to lose now the season is half over, lets see TW show these kids what he expects from them for the rest of the year & beyond.

I do you get your drift Checkers but 2 wrongs don't make a right. Just because other clubs have errant kickers in front of goal there's no reason why we should ( although we already do!). Cloke is already one of the worst offenders for accuracy this season and frustrates the Pies fans no end. No doubt he's a good player but straight kicking for goal is good footy. Clarke too let himself down last night with his kicking and it's already noted he has a major flaw in his kicking style.

They'll all have their good days in front of goal but I reckon their bad days will outweigh them.

Was McGuane a worthwhile pick up?

Was McGuane a worthwhile pick up? Only a VFL player for mine. :'(
