I need help from my PRE Comrades, because my wife to be blunt, is evil.
We are trying to save money to pay off the house more quickly, and we have two areas we agree to quarantine. She doesn't nag me about my RFC membership (have standard membership, reserve seat grade A, and social club), and I dont nag her about make-up purchases.
She has tried to get me to dump the social club, but I point out RFC is non-negotiable and she backs off.
Until recently....
I converted her before we were married (a precondition), so she is now a committed Richmond fan. However she has rejected any offer by me to buy her a membership, and dont suggest buying it as a gift (have been informed if this happens my love life becomes that of a 12 year old boy
).
Recently she found out how much the social club costs, and made an offer.
Dump the social club membership, and she agrees to be a member in 2008.
Now this will benefit the club in that we get another member, and still get a decent chunk of change from me. HOWEVER, this means I miss out on the social club perks (that guaranteed GF ticket access will be useful in 2011), but more importantly she gets a win as I compromise on the uncompromisable.
So peoples, what should I do??
