we need not look any further than our neighbours across thge road at how to locate and develope young talent, their the no 1 club in australia at eleite level at consistenly coming up with new young talent and developing it, we should pick their brains on their processes.

Agree Joker, however the NRL system is open slather hence no draft.They are able to fast track their kids ,somthing we haven't been able to do.
 
some good points joker, but one advantage they have is that i believe they can sign kids at 13 or 14

True,but they still have an excellent development record
 
Storm have some of the best talent spotters in the business especially in QLD which is how theyve managed to snare kids like Inglis, Slater and Folau over recent times.

The key to the development is not just a professional organisation but i also believe the yougsters are shielded from the spotlight and associated celeb status in Melbourne thus are more able to keep their minds on the job, keep focussed and develop accordingly.

pick their brains? Stuff that - we need to steal their whole development team!
