MEMO WALLACE : PLEASE CHOOSE ONE OF TWO OPTIONS

Since when did Wallace ever know what he is doing? ???

We have gone backwards every year since he took over, despite recruiting some good players and clearing out some of the deadwood and older group. We're worse off now than when the worlds' worst ever coach (Frawley) was in charge.

As big a Wallace fan as i was, i think you may be right. Seems like he has also surrounded himself with all the wrong assistance staff. Apart from Andy Collins, the others it seems have provided little support. Either that or Wallace doesn't listen to them.

No we aren't, our list is far better than when he first took over and is starting to look better structured after the 2007 selections. As for knowing what he is doing yes he does, whether it works is another thing.

tango,
u saying they must clear the floor??
not exactly, tivendale yes never again in the seniors but you cannot flick a richo and bowden now, its too late
but you can play them in positions that suit their free wheeling style, like each wing and let a new backline and fwd line develop without them but still keep them in the side for their leadership and experience, we can only lose and we cant finish lower than last?? at the end of the season you announce richo and bowdens retirements (unless they go ok in their new roles)

we bite the bullet and play

FF *smile*
CHF hughes
C: Richo Newman Bowden
CHB rance
FB thursty
R: Simmons Foley Deledio

we have enough players to fight for the remaining flank spots

as our k fwd & back posts

I think Wallace realises he is under the pump. Richmond supporters need to see something positive on the footy field. If we're realistic we don't expect to be a top side this year, but we do expect our youth to show improvement and our senior players to show leadership. We expect the side to at least fight out a game.

Watching the Melbourne/Geelong on the weekend where Melbourne, completely outmatched, at least gave Geelong a fright in the 3rd qtr. Some fight was evident and some encouraging signs from their youth. We saw very little of this from the Tigers.

Completely unacceptable Terry! I don't care whether it is 'only' an NAB cup match. I'm tired of lame excuses.

I haven't yet given up hope on the season proper, but Wallace won't be around long if performances like that continue.

to be honest Djev,

it was really only a half a qtr burst in the second half against the saints that blew the game apart

we did show some fight in the 1st, 3rd & 4th qtrs but the game was lost before half time

We have big problems when our captain, a 10 year afl veteran and premiership player can't hit a target 20 metres away. Time's up for Kane. The writing was on the chicken manure last year in 6 point Arial. Now it's 24 point Arial Bold in red and underlined.

I would argue that we wern't in the game at any stage especially after those three or so goals where the saints found completely unmarked men in the forward 50 in the first qtr.

We managed to get the ball a bit in the 3rd Qtr, but couldn't find a target in the forward line who wasn't >50 from goal in the pocket.

I can't see what would be wrong with a team of 18-22 year olds with Deledio captain. A character building excercise at the least.

That's how the Port Power team list began in the 90s.

The bulk of it came out of SANFL U16 premiership squad.

Our list is far better??? So why do we still suck? I'll give you a clue......it starts with Terry and ends with Wallace! :cutelaugh :hihi

He knows what he is doing??? (Boy have you been sucked in by the Sultan of Swing or what?) If he does, why do we still suck? ....and why isn't it working?
